Sophisticated and daring, Argentine Tango is a ‘caliente’ blend of movements and beats borrowed from many nations, including the relentless rhythms from the African ‘candombe’ -beat on the drums (known as tan-go), the popular music of the Pampas (Argentine flatlands), and a combination of Indian rhythms and music of early Spanish colonists.

In fact, the word tango comes from the Latin word ‘tangere’, which translates to touch in English.
