work on specific techniques to enhance your level of dancing.
These workshops are for Intermediate and Advanced Argentine
Tango students ONLY.
Workshop ONE: 1:00 to 2:30 PM - Intermediate Level:
Giros and Sacadas
- through modern concepts, you will learn dissociation
and applications that make turns and sacadas
easier.
Embellishments - we will explore leader
and follower embellishments, breathing in the moment,
developing the connection with your partner and enjoying
the subtlety of the dance.
Workshop TWO: 2:45 to 4:15 PM - Advanced Level:
Pendular Movements - in this class
we will focus on the principal for colgadas and
women's boleos lineares.
Overturned Positions - we will learn
essential elements and technique for overturned ochos
to prepare for back sacadas and change of direction.
